Frequently Asked Questions

👗 What is the dress code?

Our wedding will blend boho-luxury, rustic charm, and elegant traditions, so we encourage attire that reflects the beauty of the day. This is a Nigerian–Zimbabwean celebration, and we invite our guests to embrace African fashion in all its vibrancy and elegance.

🎨 Are there any colours guests should avoid?

Yes, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing Red and Gold, as these colours are reserved for the bride and groom.

💸 What is the African tradition of spraying money?

Spraying money is a beautiful and joyful African tradition commonly seen at celebrations, particularly weddings. Guests shower the bride and groom with money while they dance as a gesture of love, blessings, and well wishes for prosperity in their marriage. If you would like to participate, please feel free to bring cash in small denominations. Participation is entirely optional but greatly appreciated as part of the festive experience.

📝 When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by 1 August 2026 via our wedding website or by WhatsApp to Mudiwa on +263 78 990 7402.

Zimbabwe primarily uses the United States Dollar (USD). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted at most hotels, restaurants, and larger establishments, but we recommend carrying some cash for smaller purchases and taxi payments.

August is one of the most pleasant times to visit Zimbabwe, with warm sunny days and cooler evenings. Daytime temperatures typically range between 20–26°C, while evenings can be chilly, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl.
